Overview:

The Bhandarkars' Collge library is housed in a spacious three storied building in Southern part of the campus. The new Sri Venkatraya Bhandarkar Memorial Library is housed in Late Smt.Usha H. Library Rules:

Two books in lending section can be borrowed for the period of one week. Text books in Reference Section can be borrowed for overnight lending. The books for overnight lending are issued during the closing hours and need to be returned by next day morning. CDs/DVDs can be borrowed for short period. Project Report is meant for reference only and cannot be issued. The reference books like encyclopedias and dictionaries are for reference only and cannot be issued.

The application for borrowing the books are to be duly filled and dropped into separate box before 9.40 am. The available books will be issued between 1.45 pm and 5.00 pm on the same day. If the issued books are not taken on that day, the books may also be also being collected on next day before 9.40 am. Renewal of issued books is not allowed. However, books can be reissued only if there is no demand from other user. The library can recall the books issued to the user at any time if required.

The bar-coded ID cards will be issued to all the staff and students of the library which need to be produced while borrowing books and other materials. In case of loss of ID cards, a duplicate ID card will be issued after paying fees.

The Old students and Publics may however avail library facilities with membership.

Any member who is leaving the college in the middle shall return all the books and periodicals and pay overdue charges, if any, to get the No Due Certificate.
