Overview
The Bhandarkars' Collge library is housed in a spacious three storied building in Southern part of the campus. The new Sri Venkatraya Bhandarkar Memorial Library is housed in Late Smt.Usha H. Shantaram Memorial building, with a floor area of 35000 sq. ft., with 350 seating capacity.
The in house activities of the library have been computerized using 'Easylib' software. A bar-coded system of issue and return of books is currently in use. Our Library follows Dewey's Decimal Classification System. Clink Cyber Café Software is installed for management at internet centre. Signature via electronic pad is introduced. Undisrupted power supply facility is available for circulation and internet facility. Two terminals are provided at the entrance that can be used to gain information regarding status of availability and particulars of any book. A separate library section is provided exclusively for the post graduate students.
Working Hours:
Mondays to Fridays: 9.00 am - 5.15 pm
Saturdays: 9.00 am - 01.00 pm
It remains closed on Sundays and declared holidays
